The astronaut

To show that official authorities have been absolutely aware of the possible danger posed by mobile and electromagnetic pollution for some time, we have created a summary of a French website. The full article was published in August 2014 on www.sante-nutrition.org.

This year French researchers demonstrated the relationship between brain tumors and mobile phone use. Not surprising, when you know of the NASA studies from 1981 – at that time, the Agency was concerned about the health of astronauts. They therefore ordered research on the possible harmfulness of electromagnetic fields.

NASA commissioned the renowned engineering scientists Jeremy K. Raines with this research contract. He named his resulting report “ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD INTERACTIONS WITH THE HUMAN BODY: OBSERVED EFFECTS AND THEORIES”  For his report he tested all, at the time available, study documents on the subject, in total he is said to have examined more than 1,000 scientific reports, conference proceedings, books, magazine articles, etc.

In his Recapitulation on page 25 he states that: “

[…] electromagnetic fields may cause death in at least two ways, ventricular fibrillation and sudden infant death syndrome.[…]”

To follow up on this the French journal “Reporterre” contacted Jeremy K. Raines  and wanted a personal conversation. This was met with delight by Mr Raines and he proceeded to tells them that he is still interested and convinced of the issue of the harmfulness of this technology. Not least because of tragic deaths in his working environment, where the people were surrounded by electromagnetic fields (TV and radio stations).

In his report he described that those people working in an area that is surrounded by electromagnetic fields (radio frequency) complain of the following, subjective health disorders: headaches, fatigue, insomnia, irritability, hair loss, muscle and heart pains, breathing problems etc. (Page 30)

On the next page, he describes the clinically observed effects that high-frequency radiation has on workers: disorders in the endocrine system (hormones), hypertension, increased thyroid function, exhaustion of the autonomic nervous system, disorder of sense of smell and elevated histamine levels in the blood.

These symptoms have also been observed in other carefully researched studies.

Jeremy Raines says, in a personal conversation with “Reporterre”, that the values that are considered “safe” for electromagnetic fields in the US and in Europe where far too high back then, and still are today. These limits prevented only an apparent warming of body tissues, but not other damage. In the meantime, the wireless technologies have “improved”, more and more data can be transferred more rapidly; “WiFi, radio and cell phones are now common. But research has been discontinued. According to Jeremy Raines neither the cell phone industry nor governments are interested in more serious studies, for obvious reasons.

Next  Jeremy Raines emphasizes: “Since our human body also has an electromagnetic system to control vital regulatory processes, it is important, to find out what intensity of outside electromagnetic signals influence our system. It is absolutely necessary to find an answer! ”
