Light instead of W-Lan
A year-long research project by the Fraunhofer Institute is now producing encouraging results that may soon make Wi-Fi a thing of the past:
Data traffic via light pulses emitted by LED lamps that are imperceptible to the human eye.
All trials have now been successful. Nevertheless, it will probably be a few years before we as end consumers can also enjoy radiation-free data traffic.

Epidemiological study with soldiers confirms the results of laboratory and animal studies: soldiers who used their cell phone more than 20 times a day had a significantly lower sperm concentration on average than soldiers who used their cell phone less than once a week. This is the result of the largest epidemiological study conducted in Switzerland to date.
