5G & Co: New studies, new judgments, new book

Many people are concerned not only about coronavirus, but also about 5G mobile technology. Recently, a comprehensive review of the current state of research confirmed the harmful effects of 5G. In the USA, a federal court ruling is attracting international attention. And a new book on the dangers of 5G is earning praise.

Strong mobile phone radiation is making more and more people ill: in Germany, at least two percent of the population are already considered electro-hypersensitive. But animals and plants are also increasingly suffering lasting damage. Technologies such as 5G could be partly responsible for insect deaths due to high-frequency electromagnetic radiation. The Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) Committee, a committee of the European Parliament, published a review of the findings on the risks of 5G and non-ionizing radiation this summer, according to a report by diagnose-funk.org. The study calls for a halt to the expansion of 5G. It was written by a working group at the Ramazzini Institute (Bologna) under the direction of Fiorella Belpoggi. The study is considered to be the most comprehensive review of the state of research on 5G to date, both the low and higher (gigahertz) frequencies used in 5G, and is therefore also an assessment of mobile communications as a whole. • In a summary of the results from epidemiology, in-vivo and in-vitro studies, there is evidence (limited evidence / sufficient evidence) of a cancer-causing potential, especially of the frequency ranges of GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G (450 to 6,000 MHz) used to date, as well as of negative effects on fertility.
• No adequate studies are available on 5G in the higher frequency range (24 to 100 GHz). This is why the study describes 5G as an experiment on the population.
• The non-thermal effects must be taken into account in the assessment, which has not yet been done. The ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) is directly criticized for this. Your guidelines have no protective function.
• The authors of the study call for a halt to 5G expansion, research into the high 5G frequencies, education of the population and a focus on the expansion of fiber optic networks.

Trivializations of the study situation are rejected

In many places, the study takes issue with the ICNIRP and thus also with the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection, which attempt to downplay study results that demonstrate the risks of non-ionizing radiation. Their objections to the results of the NTP and Ramazzini studies (RI) are rejected; the STOA report states: “Consequently, the results of the two laboratories cannot be interpreted as “random”. The NTP and RI studies show that the assumption that RF radiation cannot cause health effects other than tissue heating is not scientifically sound.”

Radiation protection policy in need of explanation

This 175-page STOA report must have consequences, demands diagnose-funk.org. The results of the NTP study, the Ramazzini study, the AUVA studies and the BERENIS study (Schürmann/Mevissen) and 94 reviews are now available, which in their entirety prove DNA strand breaks, cancer risks, effects on the reproductive organs and oxidative cell stress as a damage mechanism. The criteria not only for a precautionary policy, but also for hazard prevention have been met and the complete unsuitability of the current limit values has been proven.

Judgment of international significance

A historic decision involving scientific evidence of harm from wireless radiation was handed down in the United State Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, according to diagnose-funk.org. What is it all about? In 2020, EHT (Environmental Health Trust) and CHD (Childrens Health Defense) sued the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) for “failure to respond to important comments” and neglecting science. The judge’s ruling was published on August 13, 2021 and states that the FCC must do the following:

1. provide a reasoned explanation for their decision to maintain their testing procedures to determine whether cell phones and other portable electronic devices meet their guidelines.
2. address the effects of RF radiation on children, the health consequences of long-term exposure to RF radiation, the ubiquity of wireless devices and other technological developments that have taken place since the Commission last updated the Directives.
3. Consideration of the effects of RF radiation on the environment.

According to diagnose-funk.org, this judgment has “international significance”.

New book about the “5G madness”

The whole topic of 5G mobile technology is difficult for laypeople to assess. How dangerous are mobile communications and 5G technology really? And what can we do to protect ourselves?
