Especially when it comes to the dangers of mobile phone radiation, the majority of politicians do not seem to care about the fears of the population. In addition, warnings from doctors are ignored and federal court rulings are disregarded.
In a recent online survey conducted by Swiss Radio SRF, over three quarters of the more than 2,000 Internet participants questioned were against an increase in the limit values for mobile phone radiation. More than half want to reduce it. These results confirm the latest surveys by the Federal Statistical Office. The call by the Commission for Transport and Telecommunications Services to increase the limit values therefore contradicts the opinion of an overwhelming majority of the population. “High limits have nothing to do with innovation. On the contrary, they slow down innovation at the three mobile phone companies and delay the neglected expansion of fibre optics by years, if not decades,” emphasizes the umbrella association Elektrosmog Schweiz und Lichtenstein.
Doctors warn
The Doctors for Environmental Protection (Aefu ) are also up in arms against the politicians’ plans to increase the limit values: “Parliament is trying to bypass the public by lobbying to increase the limit values for mobile phone installations in Switzerland,” Aefu Managing Director Martin Forter told 20 Minuten. He warns of the dangers of cell phone radiation. The World Health Organization (WHO) classifies cell phone radiation as possibly carcinogenic.
Federal court rulings disregarded
However, politicians are not only disregarding the opinions of the public and medical professionals, they are also disregarding some federal court rulings – for example on the expansion of the electricity grids, as reported by the umbrella organization Elektrosmog Schweiz und Lichtenstein. The Federal Supreme Court has ruled clearly in four cases concerning the expansion (increase in capacity) of electricity grids.
- Längenberg, part of the pipeline to be extended must be buried in the ground.
- Riniken AG, part of the pipeline to be extended must be buried in the ground.
- Lauerz, part of the pipeline to be extended must be buried in the ground.
- Hohle Gasse, the pipeline to be extended must be moved so that the limit values are complied with
If there are pipes in the ground, the limit values are inevitably complied with.
Electricity industry and Federal Council
However, according to a report on funkstrahlung.ch, the electricity industry is circumventing this Federal Court ruling by having the Federal Council amend the relevant ordinances and laws. To top it off, the Federal Council writes in its explanatory memorandum: “The Federal Council today amended the Ordinance on Protection against Non-Ionizing Radiation (NISV) in line with a ruling by the Federal Supreme Court. The court ruled that the radiation from old high-voltage power lines is less strictly limited than that from new installations. Old installations must now comply with stricter precautionary emission limits than before for certain conversions or operational changes.”
According to the umbrella organization for electrosmog, this means in concrete terms: “In the case of line extensions, the lines are explicitly no longer to be buried in the ground, line relocations are also excluded and the limit values still do not have to be complied with. Here, the authors seem to be hoping for a lack of expertise on the part of parliament.”
Federal Court rules against mobile phone antenna in Kilchberg
This year, the Federal Supreme Court ruled in the interests of citizens critical of mobile communications after a five-year dispute over a mobile phone antenna in Kilchberg. It thus supports the arguments of the Kilchberg building commission, as reported by the Zürichsee-Zeitung. The reason given was that the 7.5 meter high antenna was larger than average and disturbed the Kilchberg townscape. The planned mobile phone antenna has been a source of concern for residents, the building commission and the various courts for five years. The lawyer for the residents making the complaint believes that the ruling points the way forward. Not in terms of mobile phone antennas and their radiation, but in terms of building law.
Dead spots as a competitive advantage
Sometimes dead spots and poor cell phone reception can even promote competition. According to a report in the Frankenpost , the new tourism guide for the Franconian Forest is specifically aimed at “younger decelerators”. The district of Kulmbach recorded a strong increase in tourist arrivals. Cell phone reception is said to be particularly poor in certain places.
Generate a harmonic oscillation field
Do you want to protect yourself from high-frequency radiation and electrosmog? The law of resonance states that no resonances can occur in an oscillating field with oscillations whose frequencies lie outside those of the field. In other words: In a harmonic oscillation field, artificial radiation has no effect, regardless of who generates it, whether it comes from a neighbor or a nearby mobile phone mast. The mobile products from Swiss Harmony (BioRing, BodyCard, BioBracelet and the BioPatch) harmonize the human body by transmitting the harmonic vibration as information to the human energy system. This means that artificially created radiation fields can no longer resonate.
Swiss Harmony: Protection against harmful radiation
Swiss Harmony products for harmonizing houses and apartments ensure that the electricity that supplies a building with electricity receives a different message. They transmit the information of the visible light spectrum to the passing current via the resonance path, which in turn distributes it throughout the entire effective range of the circuit. The electromagnetic field of the apartment or house becomes a harmonious field. In-house WLAN transmitters, cell phones or cordless phones are interference-free because they are connected to the harmonic current field and therefore emit the same harmonic information.
