Clear evidence: mobile phone radiation causes brain tumors

Cancer caused by mobile phone radiation? At the recent pediatrics conference in Baltimore with doctors and scientists from all over the USA, the question of whether cell phones cause brain tumors was definitively answered.

Dr. Devras Davis, President of the Environmental Health Trust, is quoted as saying: “The evidence is clear: cell phones cause brain tumors.” Children are particularly susceptible to the harmful effects of cell phone radiation, even in the womb. 40 percent higher risk of brain tumor

In 2010, the international Interphone Study came to the conclusion that the use of cell phones for ten years and longer is associated with a 40 percent higher risk of brain tumors, a 300 percent higher risk of tumors on the auditory nerves and a similarly increased risk of tumors in the parotid gland. Finally, in 2015, a study published in Electromagnetic Biology & Medicine provided a partial answer to the question of how RFR can cause cancer. For example, previous research into the biological effects of RFR has concluded that the radiation absorbed from cell phone or wireless internet use triggers oxidative stress – a condition in which the body’s antioxidant capacity is overwhelmed and free radicals accumulate. Cell phone instead of child

The dangers of cell phone use are now also known on a psychological level – especially in children: “There is a link between the use of cell phones among pregnant women and behavioral problems in their children,” emphasizes Dr. Hugh Taylor from the Yale School of Medicine (USA). In addition, the disruptive effect of cell phones causes damage on an interpersonal level, warns clinical psychologist Catherine Steiner-Adair. “These devices have a really stressful and straining effect on our family relationships because the average mom and dad check their cell phones 60 to 100 times a day,” says Catherine Steiner-Adair. Numerous studies have shown that parents regularly ignore their children and look at their cell phone screens instead. The consequences of this are behavioral disorders in children who are well aware that they are being ignored. In an international study, 30 percent of the children surveyed stated that their parents spend at least as much time on their cell phones as with them.
