According to a study commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs and published in mid-2015, only around three quarters of childless men and women between the ages of 20 and 50 have no offspring by choice. For around 25 percent of couples, the desire to have children remains unfulfilled. One of the possible reasons for this could be the increasing exposure to radiation due to the digitalization of our world. As the following explanations show, there is a connection between decreasing fertility and increasing mobile phone radiation.
Electrosmog influences fertility
Smartphone ready to receive in your pocket, laptop or tablet on your lap – and not just for a few minutes. Children and young people in particular use mobile devices for up to eight hours a day and are therefore constantly exposed to high-frequency radiation. The effects this has on reproductive organs such as testicles, sperm and ovaries were explained by the non-profit organization diagnose:funk – Umwelt- und Verbraucherorganisation zum Schutz vor elektromagnetischer Strahlung e. V. in a recent Brennpunkt article. The main results of a total of 130 studies analyzed: reduction in sperm count and sperm quality as well as a decrease in sperm motility (mobility) in men. In women, this resulted in reduced reproductive capacity and even infertility. Both sexes were also affected by DNA strand breaks and oxidative cell stress – caused by an overproduction of free radicals.
Warnings from the official side
In the meantime, there are numerous statements on this topic not only from doctors and researchers, but also from authorities and medical associations. In December last year, for example, the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection once again warned against using smartphones and tablet PCs close to the body. The Cleveland Clinic Ohio, Center for Reproductive Medicine, (study by Prof. Ashok Agarwal in the Swiss ‘Tages-Anzeiger’ and other media on September 19, 2008) was quoted as saying “Cell phone in your pocket makes sperm weak”. The comment “We used to use these microwaves for birth control. Today we use them to make phone calls. Very nice.” by Prof. Dr. Huai Chiang, China’s leading electrosmog expert and consultant to the WHO, at the mobile phone conference in Salzburg in June 2000 also speaks for itself.
If you don’t want to do without smartphones and the like, but want to protect your health and maintain your fertility, you can do so with Swiss Harmony products.
