Digital helpers with serious side effects

During the coronavirus crisis, cell phones, tablets and the like have played a central role as digital helpers, especially in schools. However, according to scientific studies, the devices also lead to learning deficits, sleep disorders and other impairments.

Over the past two years, the coronavirus crisis has led to the widespread use of digital devices such as cell phones, tablets and computers in and outside of the classroom. The devices were often indispensable during the pandemic due to school closures. But the digital helpers for schools also have their downsides. According to Prof. Dr. Klaus Zierer, Professor of School Education at the University of Augsburg, scientific findings show that heavy cell phone use can lead to massive learning deficits among pupils. This was reported by the Augsburger Allgemeine. According to Klaus Zierer, schools must therefore pay particular attention to children’s smartphone use (see also report on zukunft-ch.ch).

Sleep disorders and cyberbullying

Excessive use of these devices can lead to a learning delay of up to a year, according to Klaus Zierer. Cell phone use is also associated with sleep disorders and cyberbullying – two other factors that hinder learning success. The chair holder has been working with the New Zealand education researcher John Hattie for years. According to Klaus Zierer, more than 1,800 meta-studies have now been evaluated for the latest, world-renowned Hattie study. This means that around 100,000 individual studies based on the learning performance of 300 million pupils are included in the current study. This shows that digital media not only represent an opportunity, but also a source of risk, even in the event of a pandemic. In this context, the revised DVD “Aufwach(s)en im Umgang mit digitalen Medien. What parents and educators should know. How the use of digital media influences brain development” from diagnosefunk.org is recommended. It also contains a 20-minute short version, which is particularly suitable for parents’ evenings and other discussion groups.

Lawsuit upheld

In California, the courts dealt with the health consequences of a Wi-Fi system in a school and the question of whether “Wi-Fi sickness” can be recognized as a disability (see also report on buergerwelle-schweiz.org). The California Court of Appeal answered this question in the affirmative on February 18, 2021 in Brown v. Los Angeles Unified School District, Case No. B294240. The Court of Appeal upheld the claim of a teacher who claimed disability as a result of “electromagnetic hypersensitivity”. Laurie Brown, a teacher, has worked in the Los Angeles school district since 1989. Shortly afterwards, the old Wi-Fi system in the school building to which she moved in 2015 was replaced with a modern system. After using it, Brown experienced chronic pain, headaches, nausea, itching, burning skin, ear problems, breathing difficulties, inflammation, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory complications, drowsiness and fatigue. She reported the symptoms to her superiors. She was then released from work for several days. She returned to campus the following week and the symptoms returned within two to three hours. Her doctor then diagnosed her with electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).

New cases were added

This case from California is of course by no means the only one. As early as 2008, for example, WLAN-related symptoms of discomfort were reported by employees in libraries in Paris. The trade unions intervened and the libraries’ new WLAN systems were taken out of service. – On January 4, 2009, the Sunday Times reported that a young family moved out of Glastonbury town center after one of Britain’s first city Wi-Fi networks was set up there. “Wi-Fi is making us all sick,” was her warning. From then on, reports of complaints about WLAN came in ever closer succession. One example: Canadian TV broadcasts with interviews of students who suffered from headaches, could no longer think clearly and could barely hold a pencil when exposed to radiation led to a hearing before the Peterborough (Ontario) school board on October 28, 2010. Outraged parents called for the Wi-Fi systems in schools to be switched off (see Bürgerwelle-Zeitung 3/2011).

Two unsuccessful lawsuits in Switzerland

The switch to Internet telephony brought a further surge in WLAN complaints. The remedy was often simple: “WLAN gone – symptoms gone!”. Unfortunately, two recent Swiss court actions were unsuccessful: 1) The application to reduce the transmission power of a neighbor’s WLAN system to protect a man sleeping under the basement stairs was rejected; the neighbor’s WLAN box did not violate any legal regulations. 2. also rejected a ban on WLAN by a housing cooperative that obliges the parties to “mutual consideration” in the rental agreement; radio radiation below the limit value is harmless.

One million signatures

Citizens from 24 European countries are launching a European Citizens’ Initiative on March 1, 2022 with a Europe-wide signature campaign. It bears the title “Stop (((5G))) – connected but protected” (see also report on signstop5g.eu). The signatories are calling on the EU Commission to protect health, the environment and privacy from the effects of 5G mobile communications. The European Citizens’ Initiative aims to collect one million signatures across the EU within twelve months, which is the official prerequisite for the further political process: the proposals will then be presented to the EU Commission and the EU Parliament, and a public hearing will be held. The Commission will then publish an official response.

Generate a harmonic oscillation field

How can you protect yourself and your children from high-frequency radiation and electrosmog? “The law of resonance states that no resonances can occur in an oscillation field with oscillations whose frequencies lie outside those of the field,” says Richard Neubersch, owner of Swiss Harmony in Grellingen, a company specializing in the harmonization of electrosmog. In other words: In a harmonic oscillation field, artificial radiation has no effect, regardless of who generates it, whether it comes from a neighbor or a nearby mobile phone mast. The mobile products from Swiss Harmony (BioRing, BodyCard, BioBracelet and the BioPatch) harmonize the human body by transmitting the harmonic vibration as information to the human energy system. This means that artificially created radiation fields can no longer resonate.

Protection from harmful radiation
In concrete terms, this means that Products from Swiss Harmony for harmonizing houses and apartments ensure that the electricity that supplies a building with electricity receives a different message. “They transfer the information of the visible light spectrum to the passing current via the resonance path, which in turn distributes it throughout the entire effective range of the circuit,” explains Richard Neubersch. The electromagnetic field of the apartment or house thus becomes a harmonious field. In-house WLAN transmitters, cell phones or cordless phones are interference-free because they are connected to the harmonic current field and therefore emit the same harmonic information.

Book tip: “Funkstille
In his
book “Funkstille”, Richard Neubersch from Swiss Harmony describes the context in which topics such as 5G, corona and the like can be seen. “The discussions about the connections between corona and 5G are increasing and it has never been more important to keep a cool head. You need to develop an inner attitude that allows you to remain centered at heart despite the extreme situation,” says the author. “Funkstille” is more than just a book about Swiss Harmony and mobile telephony. It sees itself as a help to stay centered in the heart despite the extreme situation that is currently keeping the world on tenterhooks.

Who is Sonja?
Who is Sonja? She is the main character in our macabre short crime story. Read for yourself what she did without ever being held accountable. The cover image is pure deception, as she was never registered by the police, even though she committed a capital crime. Find out why that was the case and what our short crime story is trying to illustrate. Introduction: The Invisible Danger: How Electrosmog Affects Our Body

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) are an invisible threat increasingly permeating our daily lives. These fields disrupt the natural cellular communication in our bodies because they do not originate from nature and are foreign to our organisms. Unlike an obvious poisoning, they leave no visible traces, making it almost impossible to recognize them as the cause of intercellular malfunctions.
