Many people still know nothing or too little about the dangers of mobile phone radiation. One reason for this is the uncritical and often trivializing reporting in some media. The film “The Radiation Cartel” takes a look behind the scenes of international mobile communications policy and research.
Why do we know so little about the effects of increasing radiation exposure from mobile telephony and electrosmog? Why do the responsible authorities avoid a public discussion? The film “The Radiation Cartel“, produced by AZARIS FILM, takes a look behind the scenes of international mobile communications policy and mobile communications research. Producer Christian Klinger explores questions that have so far received little attention. For example, he wants to know how the limit values for mobile phone radiation came about, why certain studies were taken into account and others were deliberately attacked or have been ignored to this day. The film allows numerous scientists to have their say, as well as insiders from the WHO, EU and national governments who were directly involved in the decisions. The film shows why mobile phone radiation makes you ill. This film is the first time that it has been possible to take a look behind the scenes of the powerful mobile communications industry. The entire technology of mobile telephony is put up for discussion.
Criticism of the German Medical Journal
It is also worth discussing why many media are conspicuously passive or uncritical of the mobile communications debate. Franz Adlkofer from the Pandora Foundation for Independent Research criticizes the German Medical Journal (DÄ) for acting in the service of the mobile communications industry. If you look back through all issues of the Deutsches Ärzteblatt to the year 2000, you will find numerous articles dealing with the question of whether mobile phone radiation poses a health risk to people. “The German medical profession was thus given the impression, at least until 2011, that the current state of research spoke decisively against such a risk, even if final doubts could not be completely ruled out. This idea is consistent with the statements of the Information Center for Mobile Telecommunications (IZMF), which was founded in 2001 by the mobile network operators as a joint PR organ of the mobile communications industry,” says Franz Adlkofer.
Factual and mostly trivializing
As numerous articles in the DÄ apparently show, there has been intensive cooperation between the IZMF and the DÄ for many years. The influence of the IZMF on the DÄ appears to have waned somewhat after the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified radiofrequency radiation as “possibly carcinogenic” in 2011. “Instead of simply playing down mobile phone radiation, cautious tactics were adopted. This phase has obviously not yet been completed. An assessment of the possible risks of mobile phone radiation according to scientific criteria, as urgently needed by the German medical profession, has not yet taken place in the DÄ,” says Franz Adlkofer. To this day, reporting is limited to summarizing the latest research findings, which are commented on more or less objectively – usually in a trivializing way – as is also the case in the other media.
Preliminary studies on the dangers of mobile phone radiation confirmed
The accusation against the media is probably not entirely unjustified: According to a report by Kompetenzinitiative.net, the ATHEM-2 research project on the “Investigation of athermal effects of electromagnetic fields in the mobile phone sector”, published in August 2016, confirms a large number of previous studies that point to the health risks of increasing radiation exposure. However, the media that have reported on this research project can probably be counted on one hand. The project of the Austrian Social Accident Insurance Institution (AUVA) together with the Medical University of Vienna (coordination: Wilhelm Mosgöller) and Seibersdorf Laboratories GmbH focuses on possible cognitive impairments and genotoxicity. According to the authors, among other things, the studies “justify … a potential risk for exposed persons” as well as urgent precautionary and preventive measures, especially with regard to children and adolescents.
Potential risk for exposed persons
From the research report: The in vitro laboratory tests on genotoxicity confirmed the existence of sensitive and radiation-insensitive cells. The existence of a latency period (start of exposure until the onset of effects) was also confirmed. The cellular mechanism – i.e. how DNA changes can occur in sensitive cells – was found to be that RF-EMF exposure can oxidize DNA and thus make it fragile. In cells under additional stress, RF-EMF exposure increased the DNA breakage rate. We observed cells that activate specific cellular repair mechanisms when exposed to RF-EMF. This finding confirms on the one hand that DNA damage has occurred and on the other hand supports the assumption that it can be repaired. Such changes to the DNA disappear after about two hours. None of the effects found allow the conclusion of direct adverse health effects. However, they do pose a potential risk to exposed persons. Observing simple precautionary measures to reduce exposure can minimize this risk. Specific precautionary measures include carrying your cell phone in your pocket rather than on your body, and using a hands-free kit or headset when making calls.
Generate a harmonic oscillation field
Do you want to protect yourself from high-frequency radiation and electrosmog? The law of resonance states that no resonances can occur in an oscillating field with oscillations whose frequencies lie outside those of the field. In other words: In a harmonic oscillation field, artificial radiation has no effect, regardless of who generates it, whether it comes from a neighbor or a nearby mobile phone mast. The mobile products from Swiss Harmony (BioRing, BodyCard, BioBracelet and the BioPatch) harmonize the human body by transmitting the harmonic vibration as information to the human energy system. This means that artificially created radiation fields can no longer resonate.
Swiss Harmony: Protection against harmful radiation
Swiss Harmony products for harmonizing houses and apartments ensure that the electricity that supplies a building with electricity receives a different message. They transmit the information of the visible light spectrum to the passing current via the resonance path, which in turn distributes it throughout the entire effective range of the circuit. The electromagnetic field of the apartment or house becomes a harmonious field. In-house WLAN transmitters, cell phones or cordless phones are interference-free because they are connected to the harmonic current field and therefore emit the same harmonic information.
