Cell phone radiation leads to an increased calorie requirement and impairs the quality of sperm. This is the conclusion of two new studies from Germany and South Korea. The white paper “Electromagnetic fields” was also recently published by Wilfried Kühling and Peter Ludwig, who are campaigning for a new discussion about mobile phone radiation.
The effects of cell phone radiation on humans, animals and the environment have long been the subject of numerous studies. Scientists at the University of Lübeck have now uncovered the influence of cell phone radiation on brain metabolism and food intake. According to a press release from the University of Lübeck, the radiation emitted by cell phones is largely absorbed by the head and can therefore have an impact on metabolism and processing in the brain, among other things. Prof. Dr. Kerstin Oltmanns, head of the Department of Psychoneurobiology at the University of Lübeck, and her research team investigated whether there could be a direct link between cell phone radiation and food intake in a study. It was apparently already known from earlier studies that electromagnetic radiation leads to increased food intake in rats. Prof. Kerstin Oltmanns and psychologist Ewelina Wardzinski, head of the study, investigated whether such a connection may also exist for cell phone radiation in humans as part of a DFG-funded observational study published in the journal Nutrients.
Sophisticated test design
15 young men were called in three times at intervals of two weeks. In the experiment, the test subjects were then irradiated with two different cell phones as a radiation source or exposed to sham radiation as a control. Afterwards, the test subjects were allowed to help themselves to a buffet for a defined period of time. The spontaneous food intake, the energy metabolism of the brain using phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and various blood values before and after radiation were measured. The research team came to surprisingly clear results: The radiation led to a 22 percent and 27 percent increase in total calorie intake for almost all test subjects using the respective test cell phones. The blood analyses showed that this was primarily caused by an increased intake of carbohydrates. The MRS measurements revealed an increase in energy turnover in the brain under the influence of cell phone radiation.
New light on the use of cell phones
The research team concludes from these results that cell phone radiation is not only a potential factor for overeating in humans, but that it also influences the energy homeostasis of the brain. These findings could open up new avenues for obesity and other neurobiological research. Particularly with regard to children and adolescents, the proven influence of cell phone radiation on the brain and eating behavior will focus more attention on research in this area in the future.
Metastudy confirms influence on sperm quality
Another study by a group of researchers from South Korea also raises eyebrows. According to a report on futurezone.de, these researchers have investigated the influence of mobile phone radiation on sperm in men. The meta-study came to the same conclusion as the previous studies: Statistically, there does indeed appear to be a relevant correlation between cell phone use and reduced sperm quality with regard to sperm concentration, motility (mobility) and viability. It is also interesting to note that the time factor initially plays a subordinate role. According to the research report, it is not only relevant how long you are exposed to radiation. The use alone is enough to reduce the quality of the semen in general. This was apparently the result of research both on living test subjects and in vitro. The exact reasons for the negative influence of cell phone radiation on sperm still seem unclear, but a factual connection is certain.
White paper “Electromagnetic fields”
Discussions about the health and environmental compatibility of mobile communications and the 5G standard continue. There is no shortage of meaningful studies that should inspire a rethink. “We are living in a period of profound upheaval with immense global challenges. We are observing – particularly with the technologically accelerated changes in our living environment – that balanced reflection processes for society as a whole can hardly follow. This applies above all to the rapid developments in the field of digitalization and the mobile communications technology on which it is often based (including further developments such as 5G/6G),” write Wilfried Kühling and Peter Ludwig in their recently published White paper “Electromagnetic fields – impulses for shaping technological progress in the field of mobile communications/5G in a way that is compatible with health and the environment“.
New thinking and action urgently needed
“After around three decades of the introduction and expansion of mobile communications in mass communication, in a phase where further generations such as 5G and continuations are starting, it seems important to us to also let risk research and other critical considerations have their say so that opportunities and risks are equally taken into account in the accelerating developments,” the authors emphasize. This is the starting point for this White Paper. The overarching aim of this white paper is to initiate considerations and discussions on a cautious way of dealing with this technology that preserves the integrity of health, to initiate ideas and possibilities for implementation and to encourage the continuation of some considerations. According to the authors, this white paper is therefore intended as a working paper. Because: “We believe there is an urgent need for a new way of thinking and acting in the area of mobile communications/5G.”
Generate a harmonic oscillation field
How can you protect yourself and your children from high-frequency radiation and electrosmog? “The law of resonance states that no resonances can occur in an oscillation field with oscillations whose frequencies lie outside those of the field,” says Richard Neubersch, owner of Swiss Harmony in Grellingen, a company that specializes in the harmonization of electrosmog. In other words: In a harmonic oscillation field, artificial radiation has no effect, regardless of who generates it, whether it comes from a neighbor or a nearby mobile phone mast. The mobile products from Swiss Harmony (BioRing, BodyCard, BioBracelet and the BioPatch) harmonize the human body by transmitting the harmonic vibration as information to the human energy system. This means that artificially created radiation fields can no longer resonate.
Protection from harmful radiation
In concrete terms, this means that Products from Swiss Harmony for harmonizing houses and apartments ensure that the electricity that supplies a building with electricity receives a different message. “They transfer the information of the visible light spectrum to the passing current via the resonance path, which in turn distributes it throughout the entire effective range of the circuit,” explains Richard Neubersch. The electromagnetic field of the apartment or house thus becomes a harmonious field. In-house WLAN transmitters, cell phones or cordless phones are interference-free because they are connected to the harmonic current field and therefore emit the same harmonic information.
Book tip: “Funkstille”
In his book “Funkstille”, Richard Neubersch from Swiss Harmony describes the context in which topics such as 5G, corona and the like can be seen. “The discussions about the connections between corona and 5G are increasing and it has never been more important to keep a cool head. You need to develop an inner attitude that allows you to stay centered at heart despite the extreme situation,” says the author. “Funkstille” is more than just a book about Swiss Harmony and mobile telephony. It sees itself as a help to stay centered in the heart despite the extreme situation that is currently keeping the world on tenterhooks.
