5G: When the government is deaf in one ear

A potentially carcinogenic plant protection product used in agriculture will be banned in Switzerland from January 1, 2020. What about “possibly” carcinogenic mobile phone radiation? How serious is the government about this issue? Recent studies have shown genetic and fertility disorders caused by 3G and 4G.

The Federal Council is banning Swiss farmers and gardeners from using plant protection products containing the active ingredient chlorothalonil from January 1, 2020, as it cannot be ruled out that it is carcinogenic. “If mobile phone radiation were to be subject to the same criteria, the mobile phone networks in Switzerland would have to be switched off on January 1, 2020.” comments Hans-U. Jakob, President of the Gigaherz.ch associationThe Federal Council’s decision was criticized. There are enough reasons to take the same approach to mobile phone radiation. For example, the description of the health risks posed by mobile phone radiation in the report of the Federal Council’s advisory group “Mobile phone radiation and health”, which was published on November 29, sounds dramatic: On page 57 of this report there is namely – according to Hans-U. Jakob – a “beautiful” graphic showing the health risks and health damage for which mobile phone radiation is responsible.

With limited justification: Brain tumors, cancer-promoting (in animal experiments), reduced sperm quality, circulatory disorders in the brain, damage to genetic material (DNA), programmed cell death, oxidative cell stress.

Tricks and deceptive maneuvers

“Logically, the Federal Council should also come to the conclusion here that the examination of the additional information by the working group “Mobile phone radiation and health” showed that it cannot be ruled out that certain modes of action of this type of radiation have no long-term negative effects on health. As this radiation is distributed across the entire airspace and, as with drinking water, nobody can escape its effects,” says the Gigaherz.ch president. But apparently far from it: “Instead, every conceivable trick and deception is being used to increase the radiation limits by a factor of four. In other words, from 5 to 20V/m (volts per meter). This would allow the mobile phone companies to operate antennas that are up to 16 times more powerful.” (See https://www.gigaherz.ch/5g-die-woelfe-im-schafpelz/) Without this “minimal” increase, the introduction of the advanced 5G mobile communications standard would be unthinkable and the digital Switzerland of tomorrow would be inextricably linked to it.

Postulate of a member of the Council of States

Fortunately, there are critically minded politicians who question common arguments regardless of the mobile phone lobby. In September 2019, Brigitte Häberli-Koller, member of the Council of States, submitted postulate 19.4043 “Sustainable mobile communications network”. The Federal Council commented on this at the end of November 2019 and recommended that the postulate be rejected. The Council of States, however, came to a different conclusion and adopted the Häberli-Koller postulate by 25:19 votes. The postulate called for further clarification: the focus is primarily on clarifying the health consequences of radiation and 5G in particular. In addition to researching the effects on health, it is also important to consider how a sustainable network should be designed for the future that results in as little radiation as possible while still maintaining a high level of quality. […] (Excerpt from postulate 19.4043 (Sept. 2019) by Häberli-Koller). Even after the DETEC report “Mobile radio and radiation”, essential questions remain unanswered. In her postulate, Brigitte Häberli-Koller raised the question of whether a centralized mobile network à la Swissgrid would not make more sense.

Genetic and fertility disorders

There is certainly no shortage of arguments in favor of a critical view of mobile phone radiation. According to a report on diagnose-funk.org, new research results on non-thermal effects, for example, confirm genetic and fertility disorders caused by UMTS (3G) and LTE (4G). The Electrosmog Report 4/2019 confirms the trend in research with new studies: Non-ionizing radiation leads to genetic damage(DNA strand breaks) during irradiation, including in lymphocytes, and damages sperm. Two studies have found that exposure to “real” cell phones in experiments is more bioactive than exposure to simulated signals from generators. Until now, lymphocytes were regarded as non-responders. This was the title of a study from the legendary REFLEX project by Schwarz et al. (2008): “Radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (UMTS, 1,950 MHz) induce genotoxic effects in vitro in human fibroblasts but not in lymphocytes”. New findings seem to be emerging here.

Chromosomal changes

The study by Panagopoulos (2019) shows for a UMTS frequency that chromosomal changes in lymphocytes increase by 100 to 275 percent after just 15 minutes of irradiation and that this is probably due to DNA damage. This is a non-thermal effect. The irradiation was carried out by a cell phone. Earlier studies on mobile phone radiation on lymphocytes did not produce consistent results. The author attributes this, among other things, to the use of simulated fields instead of real devices as a radiation source. The high variability of new mobile phone radiation makes it very bioactive, as living organisms find it difficult to adapt to it. This view was substantiated by Panagopoulos et al. already in a paper from 2015.

Generate a harmonic oscillation field

How can you protect yourself and your children from high-frequency radiation and electrosmog? “The law of resonance states that no resonances can occur in an oscillation field with oscillations whose frequencies lie outside those of the field,” says Richard Neubersch, owner of Swiss Harmony in Grellingen, a company that specializes in the harmonization of electrosmog. In other words: In a harmonic oscillation field, artificial radiation has no effect, regardless of who generates it, whether it comes from a neighbor or a nearby mobile phone mast. This means that artificially created radiation fields can no longer resonate.

Protection from harmful radiation
